  • Take error free work to the next level. Have developed checks-and-balances in their past work that are so good other teams start adopting them
  • Be the owner of our biggest, most important communication channel. That can sometimes mean weekend work
  • Eventually be more than just an executor. He/she can work with other groups focused on lead generation to design simple lifecycle flows for those audiences
  • See the big picture in their work by reporting on core metrics for every communication that is put out, and analyzing campaign performance to suggest improvements
  • Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization and advanced features. Create email databases for lead generation
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Is in the top 1% when it comes to technical CRM tools, industry policies and best practices of email marketing. Must know a CRM system like Iterable or Salesforce inside and out
  • Inspires confidence across the org. You are the front line of communicating with our customers
  • Is very data-driven and analytical. Our team members are the type of people who would optimize a job posting by using HotJar to see the how far people scroll down the page
  • Has excellent experience building out customer lifecycle programs including nurture, cross sell and referral
  • Is creative enough, and can understand customer journey. It may not be your super power but you could write copy better than 75% of the office
  • Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or any technical major (in lieu of a degree, 1+ years of relevant work experience is acceptable)
  • Must be available to work in our office in downtown San Francisco
