A rapidly expanding edible manufacturer is seeking industrious, attentive, and detail-oriented Packagers. We are seeking individuals who take pride in their work and are looking for an entry level job in the cannabis industry. Must be organized, have an excellent work ethic, be able to follow strict direction and be able to see tasks through to completion. The job requires sitting and performing repetitive tasks that require good manual dexterity. Must be willing to work in close quarters in a team oriented environment with a positive attitude.We are looking for applicants who can work in a highly regulated environment, including following a zero tolerance policy during the workday. Must be 21 or older, have a clean record and be willing to submit to a background check.
Job Description:
We have a need for full-time Packagers. This employee will be responsible for final assembly, packaging, and labeling of consumer goods, for segregating batches of goods, for sorting and stacking goods, and for placing goods into containers accurately.
Requirements & Tasks:
- OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit Required
- Must be able to follow strict instructions and pay particular to attention to detail
- Must be detail-oriented and able to complete assigned tasks
- Place or pour products or materials into containers
- Load materials and products into package processing equipment
- Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met
- Remove completed or defective products or materials if applicable
- Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools
- Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, and containers
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and self accountability at all times
- Versatility in short term schedule adjustments
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
- Good manual dexterity
- 21 or older
- No felony convictions
- Applicants must be available to work 40 hour weeks.
- Flexibility required, estimated schedule: Monday through Friday 9am-6pm
*Starting pay $13.50/hr - pending a positive 90 day review, pay will increase by $1/hr
