The District Manager will be responsible for multiple store retail management. This position requires an individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has strong leadership skills, and enjoys working with Retail Managers and other members of the Team to ensure a positive culture and the best possible patient experience for our clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve district staffing objectives by recruiting, training, coaching, counseling, disciplining employees in assigned districts by communicating performance expectations through planning, monitoring, appraising, reviews, and corrective action
- Evaluate district financial objectives by forecasting sales, product needs, staffing requirements, and preparing an annual budget
- Conduct New Hire Orientations and general Human Resource functions for store staff
- Ensure established policies and procedures are followed and execute all company programs for customer service, staff, management, patient and visitor management, inventory management, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines
- Understand and prepare district financial objectives by forecasting sales, product needs, staffing requirements, and annual budgets
- Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives
- Oversee and manage product inventory, financial records, and cash handling procedures
- Maintain relationships with product manufacturers and an understanding of potential available product, with a focus on developing key strategic vendors for preferred pricing and products
- Perform Project Management and Project Oversight during build-out of new retail locations
- Work closely with the Director of Retail Operations and President of the Retail Division to ensure all objectives related to the company are met
Job Requirements:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must have experience in State Licensed Medical Marijuana Dispensaries
- Must have multiple store management experience
- 8+ years of management experience
- Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to train, coach and mentor management
- Strong compliance and regulation attitude
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and focused
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong accounting, math and computer skills
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email
- Must be flexible regarding work schedule and willing to work 5-6 days per week including evenings and weekends
- Must be willing to submit to and pass a comprehensive background check
