Dispensary Supply Assist

The AGA Group is a healthcare staffing firm working with local dental facilities to staff their current vacancies. We are ready to hire Dispensary Assistants for a temp to possible hire assignment with our client in Kansas City. The work hours are M-F 8:30-5:00.

The ideal candidate will need to have a high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. Dental experience is not required but a strong work ethic and dependable means of transportation is a must. We look for a solid work history in the ideal candidate.

Ideally you should possess excellent customer service skills and show the ability to learn quickly and are passionate about your job.

Job Description

This position requires strict attention to the attendance and punctuality policies.

• Must be able to stand on and off for a continuous eight hours.
• Dispense and receive supplies and equipment for dentists and their staff.
• Comply with OSHA, and Hazmat guidelines at all times.
• Receive, sort, and file materials.
• Monitor supply of materials with limited shelf life.
• Monitor supplies and notify manager of the need to reorder.
• Maintain cleanliness of counter and dispensary.
• Periodically perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance checks on a variety of equipment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
• The work attire will be surgical scrubs
