DISPENSARY MANAGER - RETAIL
POSITION SUMMARY
Job Summary

Noa Botanicals (“Noa”) Dispensary Manager (“DM”) is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the dispensary(s). The job includes ensuring compliance with any and all applicable state regulations, developing and managing a professional team of staff that is passionate about medical cannabis and providing an outstanding experience for and handling the needs of all patients. The DM works with Noa Corporate management to ensure sound record keeping and compliance with state regulations, to develop operational and sales objectives, to maximize revenue goals and to develop standards for optimal patient care. Our flagship dispensary is located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The DM will report to the General Manager.
Local applicants preferred; relocation assistance will not be provided.
Responsibilities and Duties
CORE JOB DUTIES(includes but not limited to)
- Participate in developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies and procedures to advance NOA’s mission,vision,goals and objectives
- Ensure the dispensary’s compliance with security, inventory and all relevant regulations
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of patients and employees
- Oversee and manage product inventory and financial records
- Set sales, service and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them while creating a positive and fun working environment
- Work with Noa management on outreach, promotions and maintenance of reports as they pertain to the daily operations and financials of the dispensary
- Manage financial records and cash handling procedures
- Work with Noa management team to create dispensary budgets and sales forecasts
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store, as well as industry- wide productknowledge
- Manage, supervise and direct the activities of assigned staff and make recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, termination or advancement of employees
- Develop and implement onboarding and ongoing operational training for dispensary employees
- Implement dispensary policies and ensure staff follows best practices
- Manage and inspire internal staff to deliver the highest level of customer experience
- Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling
- Provide education and development for staff about medical cannabis products
- Review performance of dispensary employees on a regular basis
- Serve as a liaison to the local community
- Cover shifts on the sales floor as needed

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years’ experience managing a high-volume restaurant or retail store with at least 10 employees
- Experience managing retail locations is preferred
- Bachelor’sdegreein business or related experience
- Cannabis experience desired
- Minimum of 21 years of age as required by state statute.
- Must possess valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
- Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws, rules and regulations.
- Must pass background checks, including fingerprints and drug screening, per applicable requirements set forth under state statute.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have reliable transportation; flexibility in scheduling. Working hours include holidays and weekends and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
