THeCircle is a new legalized, licensed cannabis dispensary that will be opening in the heart of Long Beach. We are looking for a self-motivating, driven candidate who understands the nuances of the cannabis industry to help prepare for the grand opening of what will be one of the biggest dispensaries in Long Beach, and to set the foundation for a successful dispensary. Our ideal candidate is a creative leader who is going to make the development of every aspect of our business a priority.
The qualified individual should have experience as a store, hotel, or restaurant manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills. This individual should also have an understanding of diverse business subjects such as sales, marketing, customer service, and inventory control. The General Manager should be someone who will lead a team by example and curate the experience customers have from the moment they walk through the door until they leave. The General Manager will report directly to the owners.
*Note: THeCircle is not a gray area weed shop; therefore, city and state compliance will be an important and critical aspect of the General Manager's duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of 6-12 store associates, which is inclusive of improving work processes, measuring associate performance, and analyzing sales.
- Measure and evolve customer experience, Point of Sales, and inventory handling practices that prioritize enhancing the customer experience and ensuring customer retention.
- Analyze Profit and Loss statements and make proper adjustments in overall business operations to increase profitability.
- Create, implement, and enforce store budget.
- Oversee merchandising, procurement, and inventory departments to ensure optimal product selection, availability, and pricing.
- Adjust and implement new exciting methods to drive sales.
- Execute and enforce local and state compliance.
- Develop business operations, including creating manuals/standard operating procedures, that are cost effective, efficient, and maintain customer and employee safety at all times.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of hospitality and/or retail management best practices.

Salary:
- $70,000 or based on experience.
Experience:
- 5 year management experience preferred.
Education:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
