Job Description:

We are seeking a business minded, go getter individual who is sales and growth focused, and has a successful track record of operating in the Cannabis industry for at least three years in a leading roll to join our medical marijuana dispensary team.

The General Manager is responsible for recruiting, developing, and training a staff dedicated to driving the success of the business. Expanding our customer base and creating positive relationships with patients and vendors is essential to our brand recognition and growth.

To be a General Manager, you’ll need to be a motivator and mentor with experience leading a team, as you will be inspiring a team of great people committed to creating a welcoming environment and making our dispensary the number one in Colorado Springs.

The General Manager must have good communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership and motivational skills with high customer service expectations, and strong conflict resolution skills. Knowledge of Colorado Springs medical marijuana market and having a patient following is a plus.

The Dispensary Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the site by providing support to all floor staff and Customers. The person in the role is responsible for adhering to regulatory standards of the State of Colorado and internal policies created by the Company.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and REGISTRATIONS: Must be have a Key badge through the Marijuana Enforcement Division, and be willing to get fingerprinted in Colorado Springs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in developing and implementation of operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Manage, supervise and direct the activities of the dispensary team
  • Implement dispensary policies and ensure staff follows best practices
  • Oversee and manage quality product inventory and financial records
  • Ensure the dispensary remains compliant with security, inventory and local and state regulations
  • Manage financial records and cash handling procedures
  • Ensure the safety and satisfaction of both the patients and employees
  • Provide education for staff about medical cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates and consumption mechanisms
  • Work with Executive Team to create budgets and forecast sales
  • Set sales, service, and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them
  • Work with wholesalers to negotiate and procure an adequate supply of quality products
  • Oversee employee scheduling
  • Serve as a liaison to the local community
  • Review performance of other dispensary employees on a regular basis
  • Oversee all hiring, discipline, termination or advancement of employees assisted by the Executive team
  • Maintaining a presence on the sales floor at all time to provide support to employees and customers
  • Management of inventory control and loss prevention– including audits, receiving product and resolving any inventory issues that may arise
  • Reviews and verifies floor stock and supply product to the floor, bringing new products to our locations
  • Prepares deposits, reconcile registers and overall cash control
