This person serves as the primary staff person assigned to the clinic dispensary in one of the School of Dental Medicine clinics- Advanced Care, Orthodontics/Pediatric Dentistry, Comprehensive Dentistry, Faculty Practice, and the Clinical Research Center. This person is responsible for the distribution of and accounting for clinical instruments and equipment signed out to students, faculty members, and other staff. This accountability is managed by a computer-based Dispensary Module of the electronic dental record software package. This position also reports any needed equipment repairs to the facilities manager. These functions and other related functions as assigned require 100% of the employee’s time and efforts. This position is located in Ross Hall, the primary clinical facility of the ECU School of Dental Medicine.

Mid-level experience in using a computer. At least two years experience in a customer service position. Some college. Experience in a clinical healthcare setting, preferably in a dental office as a dental assistant or dental hygienist. Experience as a dispensary clerk in a healthcare setting.
