POSITION SUMMARY:
The Dispensary Agent provides superior customer service and educational guidance to registered medical marijuana patients and caregivers. Dispensary Agents arrange and package patient orders, and record patient preferences and sales in the POS system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide superior customer service and education to customers.
- Educate customers on medicating options and methods, strain information, medicine effectiveness for specific ailments and cultivation methods.
- Provide educational materials and resources for customers.
- Maintain quality and appearance of product through removing shake and stems and checking for mold and expiration dates.
- Ensure accurate information is recorded for all customers registration, sales and preferences.
- Package patient orders while ensuring proper quantity, weight, labeling and discounts are applied.
- Respond to and resolve customers requests, complaints or compliments.
- Maintain organization of dispensary and waiting room through daily upkeep and light cleaning.
- Maintain and organize dispensary through daily upkeep and light cleaning.
- Communicate inventory levels and maintain accurate menus and update menus as needed.
- Additional Duties as required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- MUST be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- 2 + years of experience in a sales environment
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Knowledge of marijuana.
- Accurate data-entry and record keeping skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills and time management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
- Proficiency in windows-based Point-of-Sale (POS) software.
