Dispatcher

Heart Management is a local holdings company that provides logistic services to various companies within the cannabis industry.

Description of role:
Our company is looking for a reliable Dispatcher to help receive incoming calls and create efficient routes to keep customer satisfaction high. The Dispatcher will be responsible for using our own routing software to establish routes that make sure we are following various state regulations. The successful candidate for this position needs to be able to adjust to last minute changes and work carefully with customers and drivers to ensure that proper regulations are followed as well maintain efficient customer service.

We are looking for someone to work 2-3 days a week currently. Knowledge of Prop 64 regulations and cannabis regulations in general is a plus. You will be working out of our Fairfield office and will report to the office manager.

Tasks:

• Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day
• Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
• Act as a communication liaison through efficient communication with customers and drivers alike
• Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
• Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries
• Knowledge of various menus as well as regulations.

Skills and Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
• Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area
• Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
• Must be comfortable and efficient with Windows and cell phones.

Work Schedule: Part time, 15-25 hours a week, evenings or weekend requiredr

Salary: $12 per hour starting with a raise after probationary period.
