We are looking for an energetic and dedicated team player to lead our medical marijuana wholesale efforts in New York and Pennsylvania.
As the Director for Wholesale, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to launch a new sales channel for the Company and work to ensure that the medical marijuana wholesale revenue targets are met or surpassed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain direct relationships with state-licensed medical marijuana dispensaries
- Develop annual and quarterly revenue plans
- Prepare monthly sales reports by product
- Provide recommendations to drive future opportunity for the wholesale business
- Partner with Finance and Manufacturing Operations on sales forecasting and revenue targets
- Work with Sales and Marketing teams to develop advertising strategies and promotional activities
- Represent Vireo at trade shows, conferences, conventions and other professional events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years sales, preferably in pharmaceuticals or consumer packaged goods
- Proven ability to build and execute a sales strategy to generate and develop new business
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strong aptitude with numbers
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and one or more CRM tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
- Must be flexible, work well independently and have a team-oriented approach

- Must have a legal driver’s license and willing to travel
