Job Description:

Gold Dropis a California based company with rapid sales growth. We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to manage sales of premium concentrate products through multiple channels: distribution, white label and direct sales. The company headquarters is in Oakland but sales responsibility spans throughout the state. The candidate will maintain accounts and will lead the effort to grow new revenue and the sales team in general. The candidate must have a proven track record of selling and strong sales skills, including prospecting, forecasting, account planning, negotiating and closing supply agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing accounts and establish new accounts.
  • Achieve bookings and revenue targets
  • Grow and develop both distribution and direct dispensary relationships
  • Train distribution sales teams
  • Manage Brand Ambassadors in-store activities
  • Travel up to >50%

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in market-based selling into retail environment
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Start-up minded

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills and high integrity
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a rapidly developing marketplace
  • Relationship building from executive level to retail buyers to end consumer
  • Understanding of finance, accounting and sales contracts
  • Ability to manage contracts and opportunities in a CRM system
  • Ability to manage sales bookings and invoicing in an ERP system
