Position Summary:

Reporting to the President, the Director or Sales is responsible for managing the sales and marketing activities for a cannabis cultivation facility located in Simsbury, CT. Responsible for constructing and achieving sales and marketing plans, and customer relationship management with our dispensary customers. Company operates under the highest standards of professionalism. Meticulous attention to detail is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and achieve an annual sales plan for each dispensary customer.
  • Create weekly sales offerings based on salable product availability.
  • Supervise sales order processing.
  • Oversee product labeling and branding activities.
  • Provide market based input on new products, packaging, and medicine forms of delivery.
  • Participate as a member of the company production planning team.
  • Conduct product training sessions for dispensary staff.
  • Document and take corrective actions on customer feedback, including product or service complaints.
  • Coordinate development and implementation of website and social media content.
  • Manage promotional items programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in wholesale sales and customer relationship management, preferably in a medical field position.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in social media content development.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Critical thinking approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent team leadership skills.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and data management software, particularly EXCEL.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended time standing, sitting, walking, bending and reaching
  • Close visual focus required.
  • Required to stand for extended periods of time, lifting of objects on a regular basis, and daily repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for 100 feet
