What You Will Do:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales responsible for driving all aspects of sales, including Sales Operations, Sales Analytics, New Business Development, Strategic Planning, Large Account Management, Wholesale Distribution, Sales Forecasting, Margin Enhancement, Field Marketing and building a national and international sales team. The ideal candidate will come from the beauty, wellness or natural foods industries and help us scale our rapidly growing business.
Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Manage and optimize existing wholesale accounts and external partnerships.
- Build, develop and manage internal sales team.
- Lead and influence day-to-day sales execution including but not limited to: sales, logistics, inventory, scheduling, training, performance management.
- Develop strategic initiatives to drive sales performance.
- Create and execute a comprehensive strategic sales plan both in the U.S. and internationally.
- Focus on developing and executing strategic sales plans based on company revenue goals that promote global distribution and customer satisfaction.
- Develop, document and enforce sales policies and SOPs.
- Work closely with product development and marketing teams to create high-performing sales collateral.
- Work closely with Supply Chain to optimize demand and supply.
- Coordinate and execute all B2B tradeshows, creating strategy for ROI, and oversee B2C tradeshows.
Who You Are:
You are a dynamic, hands-on leader with demonstrated success as both a salesperson and as a leader of a sales team. Through your results-driven focus, you have experience developing and executing highly impactful sales strategies and are adept at fostering collaboration and teamwork while driving growth. Impeccable work ethic, honesty, integrity and intelligence are an absolute requirement for this position. Experience scaling a growing company and a passion and enthusiasm for the cannabis industry is a must!
Additionally, you’ll posses the following:
- Bachelors Degree required.
- 10+ years of CPG sales and sales leadership experience; experience in beauty, health/wellness preferred.
- Experience working with large, retail accounts in the beauty space preferred.
- Demonstrated success identifying and pursuing new prospects, and excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- A visionary and inspirational leadership style with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Must have solid, established retail/wholesale relationships.
- Must be able to work effectively across teams inside and outside the organization.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic planning and execution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
