greenRush is a leading cannabis marketplace that connects all types of cannabis users with local dispensaries and delivery services. We’re looking for a high achiever eager to join the booming cannabis industry and play a critical role in our dramatic growth trajectory.

We are looking for an experienced growth and customer acquisition expert to join our team. If you want to be a pioneer in this booming yet ever-challenging industry, this could be the ideal role for you.

Important note: This position can be primarily remote. While proximity to our San Francisco headquarters is beneficial, it is not as important as finding the right candidate.


Overview

This role will define and manage our paid marketing mix, including both online and offline media, for both the greenrush.com marketplace and high-value clients. And while you’ll leverage a combination of outside resources, you should be an experienced manager capable of recruiting and building internal teams.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement breakthrough strategies that will: 1) Continue to establish greenRush as a disruptor in the industry, 2) Drive sales and meet business goals.

  • Analyze the current advertising channels (Google Ads, retargeting, display, events) to allocate budgets to maximize total conversions.

  • Develop new channels, partners and cross-promotional relationships; capitalize on untapped opportunities, sites and networks highly relevant to our business

  • Grow, manage, coach, and motivate the performance marketing team

  • Oversee the execution and results of all media buying, always looking for optimizations and insights

  • Ensure clear conversion tracking and KPIs across all media buying activities.

  • Prepare and present regular reports for management, as well as stakeholders and investors.

  • Seek out synergies with all facets across the marketing and PR team, as well as the phone sales function, suggesting integrated approaches to strengthen campaigns

  • Demonstrate leadership and contribute to the development of the company by suggesting new technologies and processes to improve efficiencies.



Requirements

  • 5-plus years’ experience managing 7-figure media budgets across digital (search, social, display), radio, billboards, events and more.

  • Adaptable to new industry trends and moving between strategic and tactical efforts, powered by an entrepreneurial spirit

  • A positive and friendly attitude toward internal partners and business partners

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to anticipate the needs of the media buying team and company management

  • Expert in budgeting, capable of planning 7-figure campaigns, and pivoting the spend as appropriate
