Marketing Strategy: Work with our partners to create strong marketing campaigns that engage audiences, raise visibility and drive commercial results.
Project Management: Act as the marketing lead for specific projects and partnerships. This includes developing the overall marketing plan, budget and strategy for the project and then executing it.
Marketing Plans: The candidate will be responsible for working cross functionally with internal and external teams to create thoughtful plans and guide our brand partners. This includes panning and executing digital and experiential plans.
Project Budgeting: Work with our external partners to create smart marketing budgets that help deliver maximum visibility while also focusing on the highest return on investment.
Weekly Updates: Create weekly updates for the executive team highlighting growth areas and opportunities on emerging and established projects.
PR Outreach & Guidance: Drive the PR strategy and liaise with the PR team on the creation of strong campaigns that compliments the other marketing , content and sales activities.
Partner Relations: Available during negotiations as it relates to marketing strategy and partner relations. This role is generally the first point of contact after a deal has been signed so that marketing plan development and marketing strategy can begin immediately to maximize timelines.
Digital Marketing Strategy: Create, and measure KPI's that map to company and partner goals across social platforms and new technologies.
Relations: understand, be immersed and have knowledge of the cannabis, media and marketing industries.
Data Driven Analytics: know how to query and speak to specific data points that are meaningful to brand partner and interdepartmental relations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Abilities:
Must be tech savvy with deep understanding of current & forthcoming technologies and general market trends .
Candidates should be creative, innovative, detail-oriented and resourceful. Must be able to prioritize and multi-task .
Build and manage budgets to support online marketing .
Knowledge of social media best practices and how to put together plans for audience building , brand awareness and physical marketing.
Experience:
Experience strategizing and executing marketing campaigns, as well as pitching proposals for prospective partners (please be prepared to provide examples of or discuss campaigns you have worked on)
Experience with cross-promotional marketing and branding
Existing relationships with brands and existing contacts at digital platforms
4+years experience in advertising, media or brand marketing
