We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Distribution Operations to manage distribution activities through multiple channels: processing, packaging, supply oversight, inventory control, quality control and sales logistics. Norcal Cannabis Company is a vertically integrated California based holding company experiencing rapid growth. The company is headquartered in San Francisco and responsibilities will be in SF and Sonoma County.
Responsibilities
- Advise, manage and maintain supply thresholds of all SKUs
- Work with executive team, general manager and post cultivation teams to efficiently process and package case quantities of retail packaged cannabis and cannabis products
- Ensure product packaging is in compliance with California cannabis labeling requirements
- Oversee procurement of packaging inputs including retail jars, labels and wholesale boxes
- Collaborate with and develop distribution relationships
- Create and submit reports as directed by management related to all job responsibilities
- Oversee driver logistics if necessary
- Participate and maintain track and trace compliance
- Collaborate with distribution sales team and accounting team on order fulfillment
- Travel within the greater Bay Area >25%
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience in packaging, distribution and logistics
- Demonstrated track record of professional success
- Current on California cannabis distribution regulations
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Start-up minded
