Our client, a successful diversified and industry leading company in the cannabis industry, is looking for a highly qualified Digital Marketing Director to take the lead in developing successful, long-term digital marketing strategies for their cannabis company.
As a Digital Marketing Director, you should have in-depth marketing experience and a passion for digital technologies. You will be working closely with different teams to ensure consistency through all digital marketing channels, providing forward-thinking ideas to build and maintain a strong company web presence, and to ultimately drive all digital marketing efforts to achieve business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the digital marketing team, managing all digital marketing channels including website, blogs, emails and social media to ensure brand consistency
- Manage and improve online content and enhance ecommerce by using PPC, SEO, Google Analytics, email campaigns, blogs, forums, and other social media to generate leads and increase web visibility and traffic
- Build the companys digital marketing roadmap, prepare a budget and track the progress by measuring ROI and KPIs
- Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction
- Forecast sales performance trends and act proactively to increase their market segment
- Liaise with Product, Design and Sales directors to increase client satisfaction through cohesive strategies
- Motivate digital marketing team to achieve goals
- Monitor competition and provide ideas to stand out
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field; MBA preferred or equivalent degree
- 7+ years of corporate and/or agency experience in digital marketing required
- Proven ability to innovate and deliver digital marketing campaigns that are impactful, drive sales and ROI
- Experience in developing digital marketing strategies
- Experience in leading, managing and motivating others, both directly and indirectly
- Proven experience recruiting, building and developing winning teams
- Exceptional knowledge of digital trends and social media technologies that will drive digital audience growth
- Experience in planning and managing budgets across channels while achieving high volume growth targets
- Experience with attribution modelling is a plus
- Enjoy building, refining and scaling key processes
- Data driven, with experience in relevant web analytics platforms including Google Analytics, 1010 Data, and Adobe Analytics
- Cannabis Industry marketing experience a plus!
Location and Salary
$130-140K plus Benefits, Bonus and possible Equity - San Francisco Bay Area
