The Director, Human Resources reports directly to the COO and will play a key role in growing the PRØHBTD team and maintaining the positive workplace environment during a time of growth. Will be responsible for talent management, organizational development, and learning initiatives are rolled out to aligned with PRØHBTD’s creative and inclusive environment. Will be the first HR employee for the company.
Tasks:
- Partner closely with the COO and other business leaders to provide HR operations support; develop and define HR strategies and practices to create a best in class employee experience
- Maintain knowledge of human resource industry trends and new employment-related legislation. As necessary, communicate policies, procedures and program revisions to assigned leaders and employees as needed for compliance
- Develop performance management and training programs to assist managers to supervise and motivate their direct reports and help employees grow their skill sets, and continuously improve their performance
- Develop and deliver programs to increase management capabilities
- Foster a career growth model for all employees and ensuring a succession and retention plan within teams
- Develop and execute talent reviews
- Lead and manage the resolution of employee relations issues, leading and/or assisting in the investigation of employee complaints and partnering with legal counsel when needed
- Create HR Dashboards and metrics
Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 6+ years of directly applicable HR experience in various progressive assignments
- Curiosity and Learning Agility: desire to learn the business and key strategic initiatives in order to understand the organization and make recommendations at a strategic level
- Confident, effective leader with a track record of success that is approachable and capable of working with people at all levels in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment

- Strong interpersonal skills, sensitivity and adept at influencing and achieving collaboration
- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to align people strategy with business strategy. Ability to work both tactically and strategically to ensure business needs are met
- Proven ability to develop relationships and partnerships (internal and external) at all levels of the organization, exhibit strong leadership and influencing skills, and design, implement, and lead change management initiatives
- Provide senior management with analytical information and insights (e.g., employee metrics, survey information)to facilitate holistic business decisions and guide business leaders' actions
- Agile, flexible and comfortable working in a change-intensive environment
- Willingness to learn, grow and assume expanded duties as business needs evolve
- Experience working with employment counsel
- Experience with creating and maintaining HR dashboards
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
