DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be in a highly interactive role on our marketing team. This person’s creative and technical work is a critical piece of the Harvest brand and website. The Digital Marketing Specialist will not only think about the backend, but also the way users interact with the website and digital content. Some key responsibilities include:
Web Development

  • Manage and enhance website and digital properties through creation and updates of content and digital assets.
  • Create and maintain landing pages for campaigns.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end to end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Take accountability and ownership for all your projects through creation, test and deployment phases.
  • Prepare to address and improve any technical issues.
  • Opportunity for app development
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
Marketing Analytics

  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spending and performance based on the insights.
  • Monitor and report on digital campaigns using google analytics.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  • Assist in development and execution of marketing campaigns and drive optimization efforts for online marketing campaigns.
Marketing and Design

  • Build and execute email campaigns communicating a wide variety of messages across multiple audiences.
  • Create a variety of content assets across a variety of digital properties; websites, social media, internal digital platforms, etc.
  • Collaborate on and oversee various marketing projects and initiatives.
  • Collaboration with the team across multiple facets:
  • Create promotional materials (digital).
  • Research and apply new software or design concepts.
  • Confer with others to discuss and determine design needs.
  • Collaborate with others to develop or refine designs.
  • Additional duties and creative roles as assigned by management.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS *

  • Two (2) years of experience managing website content and information through content management systems (or directly in HTML/scripted code), including one (1) year of experience with marketing, digital and graphic design tools.
  • Broad knowledge of the concepts, practices and tactics of digital marketing (e.g. display, search, social, website UX/UI, email, conversion optimization, content syndication, etc.).
  • Experience in leveraging digital tactics in driving direct response marketing.
  • Understanding and experience working with digital/website analytics platforms; with the ability to use these tools to interpret data to build actionable analysis and report on performance.
  • Experience with email automation/marketing automation platforms is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of the interface layer of digital marketing/communications (e.g. HTML/CSS, graphic asset creation, some JavaScript, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of direct response marketing/Internet marketing.
  • Self-initiative to learn and expand their coding knowledge.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively convey creative marketing ideas and influence key decision makers
  • Excel experience is required; with advanced Excel skills to perform data querying, statistical analysis packages and pivot tables being a plus
  • Ability to communicate through various formats including phone and email.
  • If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week and to be flexible with schedule.
  • Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day. Must be capable for working in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
  • At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
  • Proper employment documentation; Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
  • Environmental Requirements and Exposure, depending on work site location.
EDUCATION *

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevantcourse of study is desirable.
  • Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required.
