For over 25 years, Rimrock Trails has helped create lasting change in the lives of teens struggling with addiction in Oregon. We are hiring our first Development Director to create and implement a long-term development plan. This is a full-time position based in Central Oregon with frequent travel around the region.
In this role you will get to:
Contribute to a flourishing recovery community and make an impact on teens’ lives.
Cultivate relationships with new and existing donors.
Research and write grants.
Identify new sources of funding.
Develop and maintain public relations.
Collaborate with a dynamic and passionate Executive Director and leadership team.
Qualified candidates have:
Track record of success in previous non-profit fundraising roles; 2+ years in development/grant writing positions.
Grant-writing experience and knowledge of the grant atmosphere for Oregon.
Experience and contacts in Central Oregon is ideal.
Strong leadership, problem-solving capabilities and a natural inclination to evaluate and improve programs and processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
B.A./B.S. preferred with an emphasis or concentration in business, marketing, public relations or related field.
All successful new hires must have a valid Oregon driver’s license (or be able to get one) and have an insurable driving record.
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen (to include Cannabis/THC/Marijuana).

The mission of Rimrock Trails is to provide comprehensive, trauma-informed and evidence-based services to individuals under 25 years of age struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. Our multi-disciplinary team of addiction and mental health professionals individualize treatment strategies to meet the unique needs of each person. We offer guidance, compassionate care, and supportive services to build the foundation necessary for positive change to occur.
We operate a nonprofit, adolescent residential substance facility in Prineville and comprehensive outpatient care in Prineville, Bend and Redmond. Rimrock Trails now leads the system of care for addressing substance use and mental health disorders of young adults in our region.
