The sales associate position contributes to Green Dragon’s success by providing legendary customer service to all customers. This job provides customers with prompt service, quality advice and products, and a clean and comfortable store environment while modeling and acting in accordance with Green Dragon’s guiding principles.
Responsibility Summary
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Green Dragon.
- Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example.
- Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
- Communicate information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary.
- Assist with new member training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respective and encouraging coaching as needed.
- Contribute to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager.
- Act with a customer-comes-first attitude while connecting with the customer.
- Discover and respond to customer needs.
- Follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety, and security to ensure the safety of all employees.
- Maintain a clean and organized work-space.
- Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational methods.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Experience Summary
- No previous experience is required.
Basic Qualifications
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing extraordinary customer service, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Engage with customers, ask questions for clarity to discover and respond to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
- Comply with a dress code.
- Engage in performing many different tasks within the store during each shift.
- Hold current and unexpired MED Support Badge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Summary
- Ability to learn quickly, meeting 30-, 60-, and 90-day expectations and company requirements.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions in addition to requesting clarification when needed.
- Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work as part of a team.
- Excitement to participate in the education and sales of cannabis products.
- Strong working knowledge of MED guidelines and regulations.
