Delivery Driver/Packager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Deliver cannabis infused products to medical and retail dispensary customers. Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a highly professional manner. Complete and maintain order manifests and invoices. Operate company vehicle (SUV or mini-van) within Colorado road laws and with a focus on safety. Assist Compliance department with order checking and loading. Assist Packaging department with prepping and packaging products in the absence of deliveries. Maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license and clean driving record. This is a position in the marijuana industry and requires a current Colorado MED issued badge to be worn at all times during your shift.

POSSIBLE JOB DUTIES

• Deliver cannabis infused products with exceptional customer service
• Maintain a safe and functional company vehicle
• Assist in order checking, loading, and packaging of products
• Operate company vehicle within Colorado road laws
• Count and handle cash payments
• Complete and maintain order manifests and invoices
• Maintain a driver’s log to indicated stop times and payments collected
• Maintain company fuel card and receipts for such fuel and repairs
• Performs other duties as required

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• Maintain acceptable driving record and valid Colorado driver’s license
• Preferred one-year of professional driving experience
• Basic reading and math skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Preferred cash handling and customer service experience
• Attention to detail and records keeping
• Maintain valid Colorado MED issued badge

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear and occasionally required to climb stairs/ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste or smell, sometimes for prolonged periods of time. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities usually required by this job include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. You must make your supervisor aware of any allergies to anything. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and is occasionally loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevailing at the time. Work environment is fast-paced.

WORKING SITUATIONS

Requires some variable hours and on call response after regular business hours to meet the needs of the business. Requires some weekend, holiday and evening work for events or the ability to arrange coverage. These times include but are not limited to; Holidays, fundraisers, events, etc. Local travel for business purposes and occasional overnight travel for events, training, etc may also be required.
