BASIC FUNCTION

The Driver fulfills the below job requirements and will be encouraged and mentored by the Office Manager to develop the skills, experience and confidence to make daily decisions that have the potential to impact the Business.

The Driver role is responsible for all activities related to coordinating the delivery of orders. The Driver ensures all products are correct in each delivery, confirms with the coordinator location of where the delivery is, delivers under the 60 min. time allotment and completes the transaction with the customer.

Collaborates with the entire Nice Guys team and ensures on-time products deliveries and follows the companies strategic product goals and the consumer needs.

The Driver is instrumental in supporting the strategic direction of obtaining new patients/customers.

KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)

• Delivers all assigned orders under 60mins.
• Keeps cars clean and full of gas at the end of the night.
• Keeps track of deliveries and credit card tips.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

-8 hour shifts.

-Double checks and confirms products in order that is handed to Driver from the Coordinator.

-Delivers product on time under 60 mins.

-Communicates with customer 5 mins before delivery.

-Reads the customer notes for any special requests such as dogs in house, meet outside location etc.

-Conducts all POS transactions with the customer accepting cash and credit card.

-Logs in all deliveries that are conducted during the day.

-Keeps track of credit card tips.

-Conducts cash drop with Coordinator/Office Manager at the end of shift.

TEAMWORK / LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver position is critical to the operation of Nice Guys Delivery. The Driver (whilst having no direct reports) will be expected to come up with ideas and partake in the decision-making processes across all departments that have an influence in the quality of each delivery.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver is not a direct supervisor but is expected to help mentor and train more junior members of the team as needed.

Industry knowledge of cannabis is preferred.

Education: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals at POS.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills: Ability to use phone technology.
