Objective

Our energetic and dynamic team of Delivery Drivers are responsible for the timely and safe delivery of product orders to patients and customers. The driver coordinates their activity to achieve optimum productivity and works carefully to meet or exceed customer expectations. The driver is competent and friendly in order to create a good impression of WeDrop. The driver’s efforts to deliver patient and customer orders in a timely and safe manner affect the success of the entire organization, ensure customer satisfaction, and support business growth.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Utilize delivery management mobile application and instant messaging application to track deliveries, document transactions, and note patient and customer interactions.
• Accept dispatched orders and make deliveries to patients and customers in designated area.
• Perform all patient and customer contact with exemplary service, including placing phone calls to keep them apprised of arrival status
• Develop an understanding of the WeDrop menu and deals, and give sound, informed recommendations to patients.
• Handle cash securely and accurately
• Remain in communication with Dispatch as needed throughout the day
• Inform Dispatch of any problems that arise at the delivery site
• Request online reviews from all customers and patients
• Calmy address customer concerns and questions
• Operate vehicle safely in a manner consistent with WeDrop Driving Safety Policy.
• Maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, patients and customers
• Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health/safety and company policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior delivery experience?
• Driving record?
• Accounting/cash experience?
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and adjust flexibly to changes
• Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
• Possession of strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, subject to numerous priority changes and short notice activity
• Able to work in a cooperative manner as part of a team
• Self awareness and ability to practice discretion when needed
• Proficient using smart phone technology

Requirements

• Valid Medical doctor’s recommendation
• Valid Driver’s license
• Driving record printout

• Reliable transportation 2010 or newer vehicle
• Valid Auto Insurance

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will perform at a level necessary to sit/drive and accomplish all motions used in driving a vehicle for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day will be spent behind the wheel. Additional physical requirements include communicating verbally and in writing, bending, standing, sitting and lifting/moving up to 50lbs.

Position Type

This is a full time or part time position within operating hours of 7am – 10pm seven days a week.
