Position Summary:

Delivery drivers are responsible for safely transporting medical cannabis products to licensed dispensaries while following the rules of the state governing the delivery of Medical Cannabis. Delivery drivers are expected to have excellent customer service skills, be courteous, well groomed, good with directions, and be technologically savvy.

Job Specifications:

• Employee must be able to follow delivery routes and comfortable operating smart phones and GPS
• Ability to manage documents associated with the delivery of Medical Cannabis
• Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Have a basic understanding of the administrative rules, laws and regulations set forth by the State and the Department of Agriculture (“DOA”)
• Requires excellent time management skills
• Part-time employment availability

All applicants must:

• 21 years of age or older to apply
• Possess a clean driving record and a valid state issued Driver’s License
• Be a legal U.S. citizen AND current Illinois Resident
• Must pass all required background checks
• Must be approved by the DOA to receive an Agent ID badge

Physical demands:

• Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds with extreme care
• Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time
