LeafLine Labs is one of two registered medical cannabis manufacturers in Minnesota, located in the Twin Cities suburb Cottage Grove, MN. We focus on using controlled environment agriculture and hydroponic growing techniques to produce various strains of cannabis that are scientifically extracted to produce & formulate industry-leading, whole plant medicine for qualifying patients in need.

As a member of the cultivation team, you will support the team in the growing and harvesting of our medical cannabis plants. This position is full-time & year-round, though some flexibility in scheduling is offered.

Minnesota law requires that any employee of LeafLine Labs be at least 21 years of age and free of any disqualifying felony convictions. Prior to beginning employment with LeafLine Labs, every employee is legally required to submit to a background check conducted by the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).

Job Duties:

• Perform all duties involved in the cultivation of medical cannabis plants: including but not limited to propagation, watering, transplanting, pruning, harvesting, and sanitation
• Perform crop maintenance procedures at different stages of plant development
• Follow Integrated Pest Management guidelines including strict adherence to environmental and hygienic controls, and perform IPM tasks as necessary to control and/or eliminate insects and diseases
• Maintain accurate records and logs of cultivation activities: including but not limited to crop maintenance, harvesting, irrigation, and building maintenance

Essential Requirements:

• Experience with commercial cultivation, hydroponics or horticulture education or training preferred
• Physically capable of being able to bend, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Be well organized and capable of detailed record keeping
• Possess a valid driver’s licence
• Able to work overtime, weekends or evenings as needed

Starting pay dependent on experience and qualifications.
