Job Summary

Mayflower is one of the few license holders in Massachusetts and as such we are uniquely positioned for market leadership. We will be opening one of the 3 Boston approved dispensaries. In addition, we have invested in a 36,000sf state of the art cultivation facility to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and quality of our products.

Under the supervision of the Lead Cultivator, the cultivator will assist with all cultivation functions. The cultivator will work as part of the team to manage our indoor Production Facility in Holliston, MA.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform/supervise all required duties in the Cultivation Department, including the following areas of production: inventory management, plant breeding, cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, cropping, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, trimming, packaging, and waste disposal
  • Maintain accurate daily activity records and operation logs
  • Insect detection, identification techniques, and general crop scouting
  • Oversee cleanliness and organization of all equipment present within the facility and warehouse
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and co-workers
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must successfully pass background check
  • Knowledge of Horticulture equipment and irrigation systems
  • Knowledge of pH, PPM, and EC counts
  • Knowledge of soil growing methods including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria, and nutrient implementation
  • Knowledge of container systems with soil and hydro, as well as an understanding of temperature and humidity manipulation
  • Knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options
  • Ability to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of a large-scale grow warehouse
