Who We Are Grow Ohio is an Ohio based company headquartered in Cleveland. Grow Ohio is currently one of 12 companies awarded a license through the State of Ohio to build a medical marijuana growing facility in Newton Township, OH.
What You Will Do/Need (Job Summary): The Cultivation Specialist will assist the Master Grower with all activities and operations of the Cultivation Area. Our cultivation facility is run with a decade of experience and a love for the plant and its medicinal applications. We are looking for hard workers who bring their knowledge and skills, but who are also willing to learn every day and appreciate how our facility runs. This specialized employee will be accountable for specific areas of operation. This individual will be considered the Manager on Duty when no Team Leads are present.


Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Responsible for helping the Master Grower meet production demand and quality expectations.
  • Duties included, but are not limited to: Watering plants, Spraying plants for pest and disease maintenance, Manicuring plants, Cleaning grow areas, Propagating cannabis (Cloning), Transplanting cannabis plants, Moving plants, Harvesting plants, and Data Entry.
  • Communicates with Team Leads and aids in other areas when not working with required daily tasks.
  • Cultivation areas include; IPM, Dry/Cure, Quality Control, Packaging, and Metrc.
  • Maintain plant health throughout the cultivation process.
  • Maintain good agricultural practices.
  • Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities required)
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience with Data Entry software
  • Capable of working without supervision.
  • Understands compliance regulations and adheres to SOPs for specialized areas.
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Willing to participate in an extensive background check.
  • Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Computer Literature (Work, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural or related field

This is a fulltime position with variable hours required. Our facility is open from 8am to 8pm seven days a week. Candidates with weekend availability is required.
