Summary
The Cultivation Operations AM is primarily responsible for the effective performance management of Leads and non-exempt associates. The Cultivation Operations AM ensures that the cultivation facility is operating in accordance with company policies, as well as local and state regulations. Additionally, this role provides oversight to ensure all facility inventory levels are above set par levels. Finally, the Cultivation Operations AM assists the GM in owning and innovating the staff’s experience for their departments as they work closely with various business partners to deliver results. Qualified candidates must have experience developing strategies and leading successful teams, and possess a strong analytical and business background with a familiarity in technology and platform capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain, develop, and create daily reporting structure for Cultivation and Trim Center
- Promote open feedback from the operations team with other departments to ensure the integration of the cultivation strategy with The Green Solution’s other activities
- Uphold the corporate identity of The Green Solution
- Build a management culture with the operations team; coach managers, identify skills and opportunities for development and provide advice and guidance regarding management issues when needed, ensuring all issues are resolved and escalated through the appropriate Human Resources channels as necessary
- Perform weekly Assistant Manager/Supervisor meetings
- Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards; promote integrity
- Develop and implement strategies to retain a highly-skilled workforce
- Leverage internal and external partnerships/networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
- Drive foundational understanding of performance and trends
- Ensure cross-functional alignment on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Lead the development and execution of long and short-term strategies
- Plan and implement new product development strategies
- Communicate policies to team
- Perform and review CAMS audits and Clarizen ticket management
- Provide oversight of cure room quality control
- Collaborate with and act as liaison to the Cultivation Technical Writer
- Coordinate and develop strategy meetings
- Establish, develop, and implement Cultivation Standard Operating Procedures
- Accurately and efficiently use METRC
- All other tasks and job duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in any field required
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent field (preferred)
Training
- Must maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Management
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience managing large businesses, including product/tech partnerships, owning of new features, and demonstrating successful launches of large-scale initiatives
- Ability to understand and run a business

- Strategy/vision to develop a customer experience
- Technical understanding of back-end and front-end/customer facing dependencies
- Approximately 3-7 years of relevant experience
- Mastery of Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with current versions
- Technical skills that include digital file maintenance and handling, uploading, downloading, file conversions, file naming conventions, and document storage
- Familiarity with word processing, design, database, and web-based software applications
- Excellent influential, collaborative, and relationship building skills
- Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
- High level attention to detail
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office features
- Experience with financial management
- Experience with project management
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with a shifting workload in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities
- Cannabis industry experience preferred

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to individually lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time

- Must be able to work in a cultivation environment with moderate to loud noise level
- Must be able to acquire MED Key badge ($250 Fee to State of CO) prior to beginning employment
