Cultivation/Manufacturing Training Manager
The Cultivation/Manufacturing Training Manager is responsible for leading training and development of the organization's Cultivation and Manufacturing employees. This position assesses developmental needs to drive training initiatives for Cultivation and Manufacturing regarding Human Resources, Operations, Compliance, Safety, Security, Quality Assurance, and MedMen Policies. Cultivation/Manufacturing Training Manager identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees including dates and logistics for all initiatives. This position actively searches, aids in designing, and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.

Conducts development needs assessment for Cultivation and Manufacturing Departments, and updates training materials accordingly.
Manages and facilitates safety training for facilities and works with Plant Managers for frequent and consistent review.
Manages the training process of Cultivation/Manufacturing employees in multiple states, according to those state’s regulations.
Creates and manages set-up of basic employee accounts including LMS accounts, Track and Trace software, or other relevant programs.
Proposes training and development programs and objectives to Director of Learning and Development and Cultivation and Manufacturing Senior Management.
Develops and monitors training spending against the departmental budget.
Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of tools, including online and e-learning tools to provide mobile and remote learning solutions.
Creates and implements a “Train the Trainer” initiative to identify and develop key employees in each location so that they may serve as in-plant trainers for all new hires that will provide consistent and continual training.
Develops training pieces for ongoing monthly training sessions for existing employees.
Facilitates recordkeeping of Cultivation and Manufacturing employee training.
Develops and maintains organizational communications such as bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results. and compare them to base metrics in order to provide consistent data regarding employee performance based on training initiatives.
Modifies programs as needed.
Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.
Host workshops at the plant locations.
Travel
This position requires up to 30% travel.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Five years of experience.
