Or client in the cannabis industry is seeking a Cultivation Manager for their grow facility in Puerto Rico. This position reports directly to Director of International Operations, and will have a strong support team under their guidance.
Looking for a strong candidate with mixed experience on large scale food crops in a greenhouse environment at the management level.
The Cultivation Manager will have the support of an Agricultural Operations Manager. Also the support of a horticulturist for IPM, scheduling, and others and is located in Puerto Rico.
Candidate Profile
- Deep understanding of The Cannabis Horticultural Science (Greenhouse and Indoor)
- Proven extensive experience working in commercial size cannabis operations.
- Proven extensive experience working in commercial size greenhouse operations. (Horticultural crops)
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player used to work for corporate type organizations and or military.
Personality
- An executive with extensive local knowledge and connections who gets things done
- High level of interaction with others in the company, both up and down
- Must be able to follow corporate protocols and adhere to a budget
- Presents results to the board of directors in a timely and accurate manner
- Never presents problems without viable solutions
- Willing to work long hours, weekends in addition to getting their hands dirty if necessary
Job profile and Team Environment
- This position is located in Puerto Rico
- Ensure maximum annual flower production is achieved while maintaining quality standards
- Follow all protocols and communicate with International Ops if changes are needed
- Commercial cannabis experience preferred
- Horticultural degree preferred
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills

- Team player that can work on a corporate type structure
