Summary/Objective

Central Ave Compassionate Care, Inc. is one of Massachusetts premier medical marijuana dispensaries. Our mission is to provide safe, quality marijuana for medical use to qualified patients in a safe and secure atmosphere that provides for patient, employee and public safety.

This full-time position assists the Cultivation Manager in day to day operations to ensure all plants and grow rooms receive the care they need. Candidates should be professional, career-minded, punctual, reliable, positive, hard working, and have a passion for horticulture.

This position is hands-on and requires an individual who enjoys and is accustomed to manual, agricultural labor-intensive jobs. This individual is responsible for performing routine tasks related to agricultural production.

Essential Functions

• Implements cultivation techniques and methodologies at various stages of plant growth and development, as directed by the Cultivation Manager
• Assisting with day to day plant tasks such as watering, fertilization, pruning, propagating, harvesting.
• Intensive cleaning/sterilizing of equipment and general cultivation areas
• Following policies and procedures related to clean and safe production of finished goods and compliance to waste disposal procedures.

Requirements

• Being at least 21 years of age
• Passing a full background check
• Positive attitude
• Strictly adhering to protocols set by cultivation manager
• Having extremely good hygiene
• Must be able to work at a steady pace and meet production deadlines
• Reliable transportation
• Repeatedly lifting up to 75 lbs
• Ability to work extra shifts as needed
• Ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, and reach for long periods of time

Tuesday - Saturday
6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
