Cultivation Technician
Position Purpose
Provide manual labor to support the activities and operations of the Cultivation Department, while abiding by policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Harvest plants in preparation for processing;
- Precisely place plants into pots where directed;
- Accountable for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse;
- Organizing, cleaning, sanitizing, etc. of grow facility, tools, and equipment; * Handle, mix, and apply any and all chemicals or nutrients in compliance with all ODA, EPA, and OLCC rules and regulations;
- Unloading and storing of supplies and deliveries;
- Precise cutting, weighing, and hanging plants;
- Cuttings, transplant clones, mix nutrient solutions, feed and water plants, up-pot, and thin and manicure plants;
- Calibrate necessary tools and equipment;
- Execute IPM when requested;
- Follow cultivation cycles and instructions from the Farm Manager/Lead Cultivator;
- Prune & train plants;
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment;
- All other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Over 21 years of age;
- Valid OLCC Marijuana (sic) Handler’s Card;
- Reliable transportation is required;
- Prior growing experience or training preferred, but not required;
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
- Ability to write and read routine reports and correspondence;
- Ability to speak effectively to other employees and Farm Manager/Lead Cultivator;
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time;

- Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.;
- Must be able to handle labor-centric work;
- Color vision - ability to identify and distinguish colors;
- Ability to focus - ability to adjust eye to bring an object into sharp focus;
- Ability to squat, kneel and/or crawl through limited space areas.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $13.00 to $16.00 /hour
