Cultivation Agent Position

We are Grassroots Vermont – a medical marijuana dispensary in Vermont. Founded and operated by a local Vermont family, we pride ourselves on providing natural products made and grown here in Vermont.

Grassroots Vermont is growing, and we are looking to hire a Part-Time Cultivation Agent. This position could transition to a Full-Time position based on performance. Under the supervision of the Director of Cultivation, the Cultivation Agent works to ensure cannabis plants are well maintained in accordance with our standard operation procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Engaging in daily cultivation work, which includes feeding, skirting, propagating, moving plants, cleaning, and IPM, etc.
• Responsible for tracking daily cultivation work in compliance with company policy and state regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of cultivation space.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School or GED degree
• Experience in Horticulture, Agriculture or other related fields
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Solid communication skills
• Able to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Positive attitude
• Must be over 21
• Must be able to pass an FBI background check.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
