Below are some of the expectations of the position being offered:
- Employee must adhere to operational standards and guidelines, including food quality and safety, individual and team safety, as well as cleanliness and sanitation.
- Must follow previously established SOP's for cooking all products manufactured in the kitchen.
- Must adhere to all Company policies and procedures
- Keep assigned areas clean
- Assemble, maintain, clean and store cooking equipment for daily business
- Work alongside fellow kitchen crew to meet daily goals
- Communicate with and treat others respectfully at all times
- Monitor product prep and cook times, as well as temperatures to ensure consistency
- Complete all required record keeping including but not limited to food logs, waste sheet and cleaning logs
- Label everything according to the batch ticket assigned
- Successfully complete applicable shift responsibilities and other duties as assigned by the manager on duty
Skills and abilities:
Prior food manufacturing and preparation experience a plus
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and maintain energy and enthusiasm at all times
- Strong attention to detail; able to consistently follow directions, standards and recipes
- Able to work in an environment that may contain strong odors
- Able to multitask while focusing on completing each job accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Able to stand for 8 plus hours
- Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk and taste or smell
This is a full time position that may require working nights and weekends. Generally mon-Fri day shifts.
Training will be provided for this position
Must have reliable transportation
Must be 21+ years of age
Must be able to obtain a California Food Handler Card and be willing to work in the Cannabis Industry.
