The Construction Project Manager is responsible for project management, providing coordination and management of a variety of facilities/construction projects for PharmaCann nationally. Reporting to the Director of Real Estate and Facilities, this role is responsible for coordinating efforts to ensure quality and on-time and under budget delivery. Individual must be comfortable working across all levels of the organization. This role is responsible for supporting and enabling the organization’s projects, programs, and structured work efforts ensuring they add value and meet the goals of executive management. Key responsibilities include: facilitating approval for construction deliverables, and the project management processes and communicating progress of initiatives. Role requires travel (+/-25%).
Duties and Responsibilities
Manages facilities and real estate project timelines and action plans
Coordinates meetings and follow up with owners reps and architects, vendors and general contractors as needed
Works with brokers on new site evaluation and due diligence
Travel as necessary to various sites to ensure the project is moving on a timely and efficient basis
Prepares presentations for meetings
Assists in move coordination for new or relocated dispensary and cultivation sites
Chairs and facilitates meetings to review and prioritizes projects;
Develops and maintains reporting and communication on the status of corporate projects to stakeholders and the enterprise in general, as required;
Provides coordination of system acquisition through the defined vendor evaluation process utilizing RFPs and RFIs leading towards an organized decision;
Prepares and negotiates cost estimates, negotiates contracts, and creates construction schedules;
Establishes and maintains relationships with third-parties/vendors;
Collaborates with the Director of Real Estate and Facilities, the Real Estate Specialist and, vendors on due diligence for sites and helps provide recommendations on work letters for leases.
Provides data and aggregate reporting on projects and vendor relationships
Bachelor’s degree, Construction Management or Engineering preferred
5+ years project management experience, construction experience required
Experience with project management methodology and software;
Strong financial skills
Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
Strong analytic and communication skills, verbal and written
Experience working and/or coordinating multiple large and complex projects
Multi-tasker
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Ability to prioritize projects as communicated by the Director
