DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *
The Project Manager will be responsible for administering all aspects of jurisdictional approval, design, build-outs or improvements, maintain the project budget, schedule, and change management. Project Manager will represent Harvest and oversee all aspects of project development from Planning & Zoning approval though project turnover. Key roles include:

  • Lead Planning and Zoning approvals including Site Plan approval, Planning Commission approval, Use Permit approval
  • Obtain Planning & Zoning approval directly with jurisdictions or in coordination with local zoning attorneys
  • Solicit competitive proposals for design services from multiple Architects and Engineers
  • Solicit competitive bids and/or negotiate with General Contractors for complete construction services
  • Solicit competitive bids and/or negotiate with Owner-held contracts including security, fixtures and specialty equipment
  • Manage design process to ensure facilities are designed consistent with Harvest Design Standards
  • Oversee architect, engineers, general contractor and vendors all project staff to ensure the quality standards of the project are met or exceeded.
  • Manage all aspects of design and construction of projects to deliver to Operations on time and on budget.
  • Coordinate with Harvest Operations to facilitate smooth transition from Development to Operations
  • Coordinate with Project Administrator to complete project files.
  • Coordinate with Project Administrator to execute contracts
  • Monitor and document project costs
  • Delegate work according to project requirements and deadlines.
  • Attend project coordination meetings.
  • Support Expansion team including budgeting and scheduling
  • Coordinate with municipalities and state agencies relevant to permitting.
  • Manage invoices and billings.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS *

  • Thorough knowledge of development process from Jurisdiction approval through Design and Construction.
  • Handling high stress situations.
  • Experience with high volume project turnaround.
  • Ability to take on new challenges.
  • Knowledge or municipal permitting & regulations and construction management.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, write and communicate effectively, make decisions, and delegate work effectively.
  • Ability to write reports, complete checklists, and correspond via email and phone.
  • Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to articulate job goals in a manner they’re completed effectively the first time.
  • If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week and to be flexible with schedule.
  • Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above.
  • Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day. Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above.
  • Reliable transportation; over the age of 21; legally qualified to work in the US.
