Job Title: Compliance Technician

Reports To: General Manager

Location: St. Johns, Portland, OR

Company Overview: Cloud Cover is a producer of award-winning, high-quality, indoor cannabis for the Oregon recreational market. The Company operates a thoughtfully designed, sophisticated indoor cultivation space in the St. Johns area of Portland. The Company sells its products to dispensaries, extraction companies and wholesalers in the Greater Portland and broader Oregon market. The Company recently completed construction of its cultivation space and launched operations and is looking to build a best-in-class team.

Summary: At the direction of the GM, the Compliance Technician will lead, develop and maintain protocols for the Company’s compliance Program. The Compliance Technician will serve as the Company’s authority regarding OLCC and other state regulations.

Compensation: Depends on Experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Stay well versed with current and proposed state regulations as well as proposed regulation changes.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures including periodic inventory audits.
  • Lead METRC activities and ensure proper data flow per regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with METRC and the OLCC as needed.
  • Serve as compliance knowledge leader to cultivation, trim and harvest staff.
  • Manage regulatory documents related to transfers, lab-testing, and sale of finished product.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a regulatory environment
  • Direct experience with METRC preferred
  • Hard-working and used to physically demanding work
  • Passion for the cannabis industry
  • Strong attention to detail and positive team player
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast paced, self-driven environment
  • Must have or be eligible for OLCC marijuana worker permit
