Willing to invest in local talent, we are looking for a Compliance Officer in the city of Moreno Valley, CA, to overseeing our dispensary’s compliance program.

Experience in the industry, as described in the specific job posting is certainly a must, but a high premium will be placed on professional and character references. The individuals we are looking for need to be emotionally intelligent, self-directed and able to problem solve in high pressure situations. They will represent the company’s commitment to high quality patient care, service and products in their daily interactions with the public.

Job Duties:

• Monitors and reports results of the compliance efforts of the company.
• Provides guidance for the management team on matters relating to compliance.
• Authorized to implement all necessary actions to ensure achievement of the objectives of an effective compliance program.
• Develops, initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
• Develops and periodically reviews and updates Standards of Conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to management and employees.
• Collaborates with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
• Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
• Acts as a channel of communication to receive and direct compliance issues to appropriate resources for investigation and resolution.
• Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance Issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
• Provides guidance for the management team on matters relating to compliance.
• Authorized to implement all necessary actions to ensure achievement of the objectives of an effective compliance program.
