Temescal Wellness operates legal cannabis companies that seek to expand access to consistently high-quality cannabis products. Founded in 2015 by Ted Rebholz, Temescal is privately-held and currently runs two dispensaries and a cultivation-and-manufacturing facility in New Hampshire; is building-out three dispensaries and a cultivation-and-manufacturing facility in Massachusetts; has launched its growing, processing and dispensary business in Maryland; and holds active ownership positions in two, revenue-generating cannabis product companies. Temescal Wellness will have multiple product brands, and multiple cultivation, manufacturing and retail locations nationwide.

General Summary:The Manager, Compliance will have lead responsibility for the efficient and compliant on-boarding and renewal of employee and company paperwork. The Manager, Compliance is a trusted resource on state regulations, serving as a resident Subject Matter Expert. The Manager, Compliance will be obsessed with efficient processes and with serving internal “customers”, and will share our passion for wellness and our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:a. State-specific background checks, drug tests and fingerprints
b. Company background checks
c. Employee emergency contact info, I-9 and copies of IDs
d. Employee acknowledgements (e.g., Handbook, company policies)
e. Coordinate enrollment in employee benefits
a. Stand and walk for extended periods of time;
b. Bend, squat and stoop, twist and bend the neck and waist and reach above and below shoulder height to grasp objects;
c. Bend and lift loads of up to fifty (50) lbs; and
d. Use hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation;
