Mac & Fulton Talent Partners is looking for a qualified Compliance Director for a cannabis extraction company in Denver, CO. Ideal skill-sets and work-history pertain to the management of a multi-faceted business operations in a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities:
- Streamline compliance department communications between all facilities, management personnel, and CO State regulatory departments.
- Manage a large staff of supervisors and ensure they effectively follow compliance procedures at their respective locations and communicate, plus enforce, said procedures with all employees.
- Communicate with CO State regulatory departments about compliance law.
- Direct complex record keeping and tracking efforts across several arenas of the recreational cannabis business
- Work effectively with legal department concerning any, and all, compliance issues.
- Train managers and employees on compliance practice and procedure.
- Keep up to date on CO State compliance law.
Qualifications:
- BA in Business Management or like field required
- Post graduate degree or law degree highly desired
- Excellent organization capabilities
- 5 years of management experience in a highly regulated industry
- Familiarity with compliance / seed-to-sale software systems
- Knowledge of CO State MED regulations
