Summary

The Auditor is responsible for conducting year-round compliance audits to ensure conformance of California region assets with State and Local Regulatory Requirements, and Operational Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Create protocols for cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, and dispensary audits
  • Perform cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, and dispensary audits
  • Timely draft audit reports
  • Maintain CA related audit calendar
  • Schedule and perform audit follow-ups
  • Collaborate with other internal departments and provide guidance on audit finding remediation
  • Stay on top of all applicable CA and Local regulations and update audit protocols as necessary
  • Collaborate with other departments on compliance inspections prior to new asset opening

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

This position will require some travel and can include out-of-the-area overnight travel.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.)
  • 2 to 5 years of compliance testing/compliance audit experience in a highly regulated industry

  • Ability to draft succinct memos and business correspondences
  • MS Office Proficiency
