About the Role
ParagonSpaces is are a shared co-working space company in the cannabis industry. The ParagonCoin community voted to open our first space in Los Angeles, and with doors almost ready to open, we are looking to hire our Community Leaders. Community Leaders are crucial to the member experience, sales performance, and operation of ParagonSpace. This position will focus on Operations, Sales, Hospitality, and some low-level Tech Support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations:
- Enforce cleanliness, including management of the janitorial staff/ vendor to ensure cleaning and maintenance responsibilities are executed daily to the highest standard
- Ensure Zendesk tickets and maintenance are being resolved in a timely manner
- Conduct walkthroughs on daily basis and address immediate issues, pre-empt potential future issues, and identify areas for potential improvement
- Handle day-to-day operations including managing building and coordinating building access as needed
- Oversee the daily ordering and receipt of product(s) from vendors
Sales:
- Support the research of prospective members in the tour pipeline and support follow-up and closing requirements when required
- Connect with local organizations to identify potential members and to promote ParagonSpaces
- Engage and connect with patrons of our community to maintain retention, brand loyalty, and establish and potential partnerships
Hospitality:
- Develop relationships with members and proactively gather information on their needs to identify both ParagonSpace and member services that could help them achieve their goals
- Identify and execute opportunities to connect members with each other
- Support the planning and supervision of educational, professional and personal development events based on members’ needs and requests
- Ensure a positive and welcoming arrival experience for all members, prospective members, and guests of members while maintaining the necessary level of building security
REQUIREMENTS:
- Speaks and reads fluent English and has a broad understanding and acceptance of other cultures
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to multitask and see projects through from start to finish
- Passion and understanding for entrepreneurial communities, crypto currency, and/ or cannabis
- You are hands-on and solution oriented.
- You have the ability to foresee and identify needs of the community and the team.
- You must communicate clearly and effectively to upper management and colleagues.
- You love working with people!
Preferences:
- 2+ years experience in operations, hospitality, or events planning
- 2+ years sales experience
