Job Description:

We’re looking for exceptional talent to join our sales team and help build a leading wholesale distribution company. Must be self-driven to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability. Responsible for growing new business and managing key accounts. The ideal candidate will be professional, outgoing and passionate about customer service. This position will be in-office, and may include some travel throughout their local region conducting sales calls.

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold-calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinates sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Analyze territory/market potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Keep abreast of industry standards, best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements

  • Proven experience as B2B sales representative – min. 5 years’ experience
  • Broad computer and technology skills
  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record in sales
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and selling skills and openness to feedback
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs
  • Biotech experience preferred
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
