Our organization is looking for a CTO to lead our in-house Software and Engineering dept. . Our team is made up of some of the most talented Engineers and Developers in the industry. Our GreenSTOP CTO, will Develop the Beta GreenSTOP App, that will work along GreenSTOP's next generation automated kiosk. This is an Executive role with a growing tech start up. In addition, this position will be a part of the exciting journey of Venture Capital, which will be featured on our upcoming reality show about GreenSTOP called Venture Cannabis. Venture Cannabis is currently being shopped to some of the largest networks on the planet. GreenSTOP's mission is to deliver an expedited, user-friendly service for customers to purchase high quality products at economical prices. GreenSTOP will bring accountability, improved health/safety standards, solutions to government concerns, amazing customer service/experience, and a next generation approach to an industry with great opportunities for technological innovations. Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing GreenSTOP’s mobile and web application using industry best practices with focus on performance and quality
- Implement clean, secure, and maintainable code that conforms to iOS and/or Android platform standards
- Test and debug mobile applications using both coded and manually executed test cases on mobile devices.
- Clearly communicate status and open issues to team and manager
- Focus on teamwork; able to work in an agile, collaborative environment with developers and stakeholders
- Software creation for our kiosk (supervisory role)
- Research & Development on similar applications
- Research & Development in the industry
- Self-Starter that can work from home diligently
- Attend two weekly conference/Webinar calls
- Lead bi-monthly meeting at GreenSTOP headquarters
- Professionally protect GreenSTOP’s privileged/confidential information
- Participate in bi-weekly innovation brainstorm calls
- Complete GreenSTOP’s training program
- Electrical and Mechanical knowledge and experience (strongly preferred)
Qualifications:
- Robust knowledge of web & mobile app development in native iOS and/or Android
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks concurrently and effectively
- Experience with mobile technologies and smart phone apps including: iPhone – Objective-C & Swift using Xcode; and Android – Android SDK using Eclipse IDE
- Programming language(s): PHP, MySQL, HTML5, Swift, Objective-C, CSS, Javascript (J Query)
- MUST have recent experience developing one or more apps for mobile platforms
- Good understanding of mobile platforms, device manufacturers, and mobile browsers.
- Good understanding of JSON, HTTP, REST API concepts
- Portfolio of published apps (preferred)
- Familiar with front end and back end web development (preferred)
- Knowledge & Experience with Social Media Development (preferred)
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience facilitating workshops and group meetings
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- High self-confidence and self-motivation
- Strong critical and analytical thinking
- Demonstrated success in Change Management
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with little oversight
- Exceptional time management and self-prioritization
- Financial budgeting and variance reporting experience
- Solid understanding of success in a matrix environment
- Ability to engage different personalities and levels within the organization, particularly senior and executive management
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflict
- CIO experience 5 years (Strongly Preferred)
- Business Plan Development (Strongly Preferred)
- Retail Development (Strongly Preferred)
- Venture Capital Fundraising experience (Preferred)
- Experience in start-up development (Strongly Preferred)
- Cannabis retail /Business Experience ( Preferred)
