Chief Executive Officer

Medical cannabis company located in the Midwest. We are a well-funded, closely held company with a national footprint. This is a new industry with changing and often contradictory rules, the proper candidate must feel comfortable in that environment.

Chief Executive experience is not necessary, but strong operational and managerial skills are essential. This candidate should also have a proven track record of executing and achieving business objections. Most importantly, the right candidate is passionate about transforming an emerging company into a leader in our space.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of operations to meet organizational goals established by the investors.
• Organize operational and executive functions through delegation of duties, appropriate departmentalization and maintaining accountability from managers
• Develop management team leadership capabilities
• Design and implement an effective business plan to meet goals and objectives
• Recommend personnel policies to support operations and ensure adequate compliance with state and federal laws
• Integrate Company operations with communities where it operates through effective public relations

College degree and additional post graduate work and/or additional leadership or other certifications desired. Minimum ten years progressive work-related experience in an agricultural/retail environment with 7+ years of leadership/management/operational experience and successful results. Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to mentor, develop, guide and deliver successful business results. Strong executive level presence and experience in delivering successful presentations, communications & interactions.
