Chemist Technologist / Chemist Scientist

• Perform testing for

• Cannabis potency on HPLC

• Pesticide testing for medical use cannabis safety using Chromatography (gas and mass

spectrometry)

• Residual solvent testing for medical use cannabis safety using Chromatography (gas and

mass spectrometry)

• Heavy Metals testing for medical use cannabis safety using Gas Chromatography

• Help develop and improve other needed methods for medical use cannabis safety

required by State of California and ISO accreditation

• Help on developing and improving extraction methods for medical use cannabis safety

testing

• Molecular detection of pathogens for cannabis safety

• Review and approve Quality Control

• Manage and monitor laboratory quality control and QA

Reports to Laboratory Scientific director

Requirements:
BS in Chemistry with a specialty in analytical chemistry
Good knowledge of chromatography especially Gas and Mass Spectrometry Experience in Gas and Mass Spectrometry
Been creative and innovative with good communication and writing skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 to $48,000.00 /year
