Job Description:

A Territory Sales Representative will oversee a specific territory for Locol Love and acts as a liaison between the company headquarters and the company’s presence in their respective territory. This is assigned by the Sales Director and can change over time depending on the increase or decrease of new centers.

The Territory Sales Representative’s primary job is to increase sales volume within their assigned region and is also responsible for developing new business opportunities, ensuring customer needs are met satisfactorily, and ensuring that the company’s presence in their assigned area is meeting the company’s standards and expectations. Customer service will play in integral role, so regular visits to existing clients are required. Sampling of new clients will be consistent in the beginning until a solid clientele base is established and then it will be on a case by case basis, depending on product availability.

The Territory Sales Rep also keeps the company’s headquarters updated on their assigned area through reports. These are obtained by capturing all communication and sales of each lead through Leaflink.

All sales directives will be assigned and discussed on a weekly basis with the Sales Director. Any new leads with potential sales that are requesting different pricing can only be approved by the Sales Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Building the business within the territory using a variety of sales techniques.
  • Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales.
  • Arranging meetings with potential customers and selling product offerings.
  • Cold calling companies within the territory and establishing needs.
  • Setting up and delivering samples to new centers
  • Analyzing competitor activities in the region and assessing opportunities for business development.
  • Working to meet and exceed revenue targets as set by the Sales Director.
  • Networking with businesses in the territory and building relationships.
  • Chasing sales leads from other members of the company.
  • Working closely with other Territory Sales Manager’s and the Sales Director.
  • Keeping up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business.

Qualifications:

  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Self starter, drive and passion a must
  • Knowledge of the wholesale cannabis market
  • Industry relationships preferred
  • Efficient in organization of sales leads, follow ups, closings and deliveries
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Current MED badge
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Experience with Leaflink and/or other CRM software preferred

This is 100% commission based position with flexible hours.
