Job Summary

The Cannabis Service Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact for customers and represents the company in the dispensary. The CSR must apply the highest-level of customer service in a high-volume, fast-paced retail store front. This position requires a consistent positive attitude and team player mentality. The retail store is open 363 days a year and is close on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The retail staff has the general expectation to work on weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

Front of House (FOH)

  • Greet and check-in guests as they enter the store
  • Verify guest identification for age and validity; politely decline guests whose IDs do not adhere to city and state requirements
  • Understand and apply city and state requirements for compliant handling, sales and transactions of cannabis products
  • Maintain a high-level of customer service and positive energy throughout the assigned shift
  • Sell a wide range of accessories and provide accurate advice on every product
  • Listen to guests needs, questions and concerns then address guest input with courteous and applicable feedback
  • Explain processes and inform guests of promotions, sales, new products, popular products and relevant products for guest needs
  • Communicate with co-workers, inventory control, shift leads and MODs
  • Creates and updates product menus throughout the day, including chalkboard, Weedmaps, Leafly & Express/Baker
  • Manage incoming calls and voicemails
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized and presented in a manner consistent with company brand at all times
  • Complete loyalty enrollment in Biotrack and explain benefits of Farmily Loyalty membership program
  • Display and replenish products as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Back of House (BOH)

  • Greet and check-in guests as soon as they are escorted to BOH
  • Listen to guests needs, questions and concerns then address guests input with courteous, educational, accurate and applicable feedback
  • Explain processes and inform guests of promotions, sales, new products, popular products and relevant products for guest needs
  • Provide accurate and relevant recommendations and suggestions as necessary
  • Process payments accurately, end of day reconciliation and balance registers
  • Communicate with co-workers, inventory and shift leads
  • Perform daily inventory audits
  • Communicate with inventory control to help stock products so shelves are full and in proper rotation
  • Update product menus and chalkboards as needed
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized and presented in a manner consistent with company brand at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Previous experience in the cannabis industry preferred
  • Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Experience using the following systems in a professional environment: Office 365, BioTrack and METRC preferred

Total compensation

All employees working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. The Farm contributes towards the medical premium for employees who participate in the medical plan and premiums are deducted on a pre-tax basis. The Farm also offers paid time-off for all full-time employees. All employees are eligible for 50% reimbursement on a monthly RTD bus pass after 90 days of employment. The Farm is a learning organization that provides all employees with internal and external educational courses focused on professional development.
